Kaiwaiwai Dairies is an award-winning dairy farm with a focus on environmental improvement and climate change adaptation. See wetlands and milking!
The walk will visit the wetland development, get an overview of the District and history and discuss the workings of a modern dairy farm. The walk is predominantly flat across farmland and will be 3-5km in length. Walkers are welcome to picnic at the end of the walk and watch the afternoon milking. Not suitable for dogs. Bring your own picnic.
