Conservation Week is a national celebration that encourages people to get involved in nature and help to take care of it. This year we are celebrating Conservation Week from 15-23 August 2020.

On Sunday 23 August come along to the Carterton Events Centre, for a Koha screening of 2040. Hosted by Carterton District Council, South Wairarapa District Council, and our joint Climate Change Advisor, Melanie. After the movie, there will be short talks by some local Climate Change guest speakers and time for Q&A.

“Concerned about his young daughter’s future, filmmaker Damon Gameau travels the world in search of new approaches and solutions to climate change. He meets with innovators and changemakers in many fields to draw on their expertise.”

The bar will be open and snacks will also be available for purchase.
Entry is by koha, but you must register using the link provided here.
