Carterton District Council are hosting a two day sustainability summit during the April school holidays (Tuesday 15th of April and Wednesday the 16th of April)

These EXCITING two days are jam packed with knowledge and fun activities to do with sustainability, food forest, waste reduction and more!

If you have someone in your house in Year 7 or 8 who is passionate about the environment, always looking at ways to reduce and reuse or repurpose or even that budding climate change warrior- then this is for them!

The first day we will be at the events centre for a busy morning of getting to know one another, games/ races and of course prizes for the winners!! Followed by an afternoon with a trip to a ron-cycling expert’s house!

For day two we will be taking everyone out for a guided walk out at the serene Tinui food forest- The Tinui Food Forest is one of the largest and most established food forests in New Zealand!

This 2-day summit is fully catered with morning tea and lunch provided. Rangatahi are encouraged to bring a drink bottle, a spare change of clothing, hat and covered shoes.

Your ticket allows you access to both days of the summit.
