Under the expert guidance of conductor Andrew Atkins and our dedicated tutors, the Wairarapa Youth Orchestra has been diligently preparing a diverse program that celebrates music from various continents. Prepare to be captivated by everything from the rhythmic pulse of African drums to the sweeping melodies of European symphonies, including the grandeur and pomp of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, and evocative folk tunes echoing the sounds of Asia.
