What is the Wairarapa Walking Festival?
An outdoors Festival celebrating walking of all kinds; cultural, with wheels, at the coast, up a hill or around urban environments. The inaugural 2021 Festival had 9 walks in the Carterton district. Over 40 walks occurred in the 2022 Festival and 26 walks in the 2023 Festival (plus a “How to write about Walking” event.)
When is it on?
The 2024 Festival dates are Friday 8th November – Sunday 17th November 2024.
